1. Rules and Regulations

Rule 1: Do not stand beyond the red line

• Yeliu is a headland terrain, often sudden strong wind to waste. The red line is designated to facilitate the scope of reach of waves and shore has slippery moss, the red line is based on the waves far as the design and painting, is not to be ignored. For your safety, please stay within the cordon. Visitors must know that even if the environment is no immediate impact, but managed units for the safety of tourists has its material obligations, if inadvertent accident, is required to pay a considerable social costs.

Rule 2: Maintenance of landscape

• Yehliu’s rich geological landscape, is sustained by changes in the earth for millions of years. Each landscape has its special appearance, each one is irreplaceable, once damaged it will disappear forever, so, do not climb, touch or knock the landscape, this has not come easily. Yehliu Geological resources are the most precious part of a special, not just pieces of stones. Its scientific and aesthetic value is the largest conservation purpose. When you touch the rocks, you may take away the surface layer of sand, do not climb as it will accelerate the process erosion of sandstone, resulting in greater pressure on the landscape.

Rule 3: No fishing, seafood gathering • Acts to change the existing natural landscape,

ecological characteristics and behavior is not allowed in order to maintain Yehliu marine ecology. For your safety and the marine ecosystem, please apply for registration in advance for fishing and seafood gathering in the park. Yehliu anglers are mostly familiar with the park, more than a way to climb into the park, the park is closed at night and even during the entry, causing coastal ecology and park management problems. the fishermen's nets, hooks and other environmental impacts of waste on Yehliu, collecting marine intertidal ecosystem destruction, and the spikes worn by anglers also has a direct impact on the landscape.

Rule 4: No swimming! • It is very dangerous to swim as it will

threaten your life and the marine life. The current varies from time to time. For your safety and also for the maintenance of marine ecosystems, without the permission of management and companionship, please do not swim in the water.

Rule 5: Walk along the trail!

• Trails are designed at landscape areas in order to protect the precious mushroom rock landscape, avoid close contact with the Queen’s head erect wooden trail so that visitors can indicate the direction of the path by walking, avoid direct contact with the landscape.

Rule 6: Keep quiet at all times!

• Yehliu Geopark has many unexpected ‘visitors’, exceptional terrain, location, for many migratory birds. Leave the migratory birds who have been left to their own in a quiet environment. Yehliu Geopark is an open space, visitors tend to ignore the noise of their own behavior will affect other visitors to experience it. It will also affect the migratory birds especially during the breeding season.

Rule 7: Keep the park clean at all times

• Bring all your belongings, and do not leave rubbish behind. Before you leave the place, check with your friends if you left anything behind.

Methods

• 1. Yehliu Geopark controls the number of visitors every day - about 5,000 people and take diversion routes during the peak period.

• 2. All kinds of commentary system allows visitors to understand the causes and characteristics of landscape of Yehliu.

• 3. There is implementation of environmental education, earth science education, local education to provide people, especially tourists to understand Yehliu Geopark better.

• 4. There is not much human engineering in the Yehliu landscape, to avoid damage to the visual.
