Poor us!We lost
our homeforever….
Rainforest about the size of Singapore is being destroyed
everyday throughout the world
Every two and half minutesone rainforest specie becomes extinct or
endangered
Rainforest is important to us• All living things depend on rainforest
for food, air and water• Absorb carbon dioxide and emit
oxygen into the atmosphere• Help to cool the Earth• Reduce unusual weather conditions
that cause droughts and floods
WE CAN HELP TO SAVE
• Minimise the use of papers• Collect used papers for recycling• Re-use plastic bags and containers• Use recycled wood• Use electronic communications
and non-paper learning resources
