• You might have noticed, the first graph shows the values in %, but the 2nd graph shows the values in degrees. Thus find out the exact values. Once you find the exact values you can find the exports are more than import in case of Germany and Japan ( to some extent, the question can be solved by observation also).

Solution ….

• 2003-4 has 4095 prod.

• 2002-3 has 3340 prod.

• 4095 – 3042 (base) = 1053• 3340-3042 = 298

• Thus there is increase of 1053-298=755

• 755/298 *100 = 253% approximate (ans)
