You want to be found whenpeople search 'fountain pens'on Google.
You optimize your site so you place higher in search results.

Pros● Longer lasting● Don't pay more as traffic increases● Typically improves multiple pages at once
Cons● Longer wait time for results● Unsure budget requirements● Many factors sway results (social media,
reputation management, site speed, etc.)
What is PPC?
● Stands for Pay Per Click● Advertising you pay for only when viewer
takes a desired action (usually clicking link)● Google owns 40% of PPC advertising, but
many other companies offer PPC advertising, such as Facebook.

How do I know which is right for my business?
● Detail your campaign○ What am I wanting to accomplish?○ What have I tried in the past?○ How much budget do I have to work with?○ Do I need to break this into phases?○ What's my time frame?
● How much competition exists for my desired keywords?
● How much budget would I need to get my ad seen by the most people?
● Talk with your web partner and review options.

How do I know I'm doing it correctly?
