Based  in  Lincoln,  UK,    an  historic  city  with  a  popula@on  around  90,000.    First  OpenAT  applica@on  developed  in  2004.  

The  Challenge  

Can  we  provide  a  demonstra@on  of  AirVantage  M2M  Cloud  in  4  days?    •  Prior  knowledge  /  experience  with  OpenAT,  “simple”  HTTP  based  data  transfers  

 •  No  knowledge  of  Web  2.0  services  development  so  work  with  partner  

 •  Untested,  prototype  hardware

At  the  device…  

•   Follow  the  tutorials  on  the  Developer  site!    •   Install  the  AirVantage  Plug-­‐In  into  Developer  Studio  (separate  repository)    •   The  AirVantage  Agent  changes  name  to  the  ReadyAgent    

• Use  the  Samples  provided    •   Create  client  applica@on  (.dwl)  +  data  descrip@on  in  xml  (.cp)    •   Zip  the  client  .dwl  and  .cp  files  -­‐>  package      

AirVantage  Cloud  

•   Register  for  an  AirVantage  M2M  cloud  trial  account    •   Log  in  to  AirVantage  opera@ng  portal    •   Upload  (release)  and  publish  the  package  as  an          applica@on    •   Create  a  system  –  gateway  (airprime  module)  +  the      applica@on    •   Power  client  hardware  on  with  OpenAT  applica@on  enabled  

Progress  

•  Device  running  OpenAT  and  transferring  data  to  M2M  Cloud    

•  Unable  to  achieve  remote  repor@ng  of  RSSI  in  @mescale    

•  I/O  coding  for  device  not  completed  but  count  field  is  being  updated  by  OpenAT  applica@on    

•  Data  retrieved  from  M2M  Cloud  by  Web  2.0  applica@on
