has to be; Collective and shared decision making With the aim of passing on the information to learner in a collective

way Prepare lessons that are meaningful and encourage learner

participation Promote personal interaction amongst learner To prepare them for the corporate world where they need to work

with big teams with complex projects

KNOWLEDGE CONSTRUCTION

Teachers need to be creators of knowledge and also influence learners to critique and question information, Annalise, design and create

Make use of ICT tools for learning

Teachers need to be competent enough to use ICT’s across the curriculum

Make use of computers to prepare lessons use ICT tools for data management to save space and time Involve technological tools when presenting lessons

Real world problem solving and learning Present information that is authenticated Provide the specific aim for each and every lesson and relate it to the

real world, like use of Microsoft office (can help learner to be able to write formal letters when applying for a job)

Self Regulation Mediate, scaffolding and make your lesson to be interesting to promote

self regulated learning amongst learners and deep learning

Skilled Communication Make use of professional communication skills Give proper feedback to learners Be professional at all times Be open to learning as a teacher to face different shortcomings in the

classroom
