1. Do no harm! “When is my device no longer my device?” - BYOD User with MDM

• Don’t wipe a user’s device• Don’t withhold email as punishment • Don’t have access to personal content (pictures, contacts, etc.)• Don’t disable device features

• Let users use the native OS experience (mail, calendar, contacts)• Don’t add too many hoops to jump through… they will work around them• Provide native corporate apps for corporate systems (sales, HR, etc)
