• SmartReceipt has no exposure to credit card details or PAN*
* “PCI DDS requirement are applicable if a Primary Account Number (PAN) is stored, processed or transmitted. If a PAN is not stored, processed, or transmitted, PCI DDS requirements do not apply”
SmartReceipt software intercepts the outbound print stream AFTER the PAN has been converted to XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-1234 format for printing. The SmartReceipt does not store, process, or transmit the PAN.
