Non-slip mats Accessible Storage Equipment located towards front of desks Staff awareness of disability issues Cords/cables lined along wall or out of the way FACILITY RECOMMENDATIONS Through our research of ADA requirements, personally talking to relevant users (wheelchair users), and calculations we determined a set of standards we find suitable for this biometrics lab. Before this analysis, we found no conclusive set of lab disability standards for Purdue. Having these standards set in place can create a benchmark for other lab facilities at Purdue.
