Configuration BackupWith NCM, you can either schedule or initiate configuration backups on demand. An automatic versioning of backed up configurations are taken and stored securely in an encrypted format in the database. You can also carry out side–by–side comparisons between versions, baseline a particular version and when required, roll back to a trusted version in a single click.

Real-time Change DetectionMany devices generate syslog messages whenever their configuration undergoes a change. By listening to these messages, it is possible to detect any configuration change in the device. Network Configuration Manager leverages this change notification feature of devices to provide real-time change detection and tracking.

Instant AlertsOnce the configuration change in a device is detected, Network Configuration Manager immediately notifies about the change in configuration. You can configure NCM to send notifications in four different ways: via Email, SNMP Traps, Syslog Message, By generating trouble Tickets
