Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV) contribute to
reducing greenhouse gas emissions, since
they make use of Compressed Natural
Gas (CNG)
• Worldwide, there are >10,000,000 NGV’s• yearly growth of 10-20% of NGV’s and infrastructure is
forecasted
in Natural Gas VehiclesThe reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is key in contributing
to a cleaner environment and a more sustainable living
now and in the futureSo how can we improve NGV’s even more, with respect to the impact on greenhouse gas emissions…???

Inliner material is key!
DSM, top-ranked in sustainability, has developed the material of choice for the inliner of type IV CNG gas tanks
This inliner material, Akulon® Fuel Lock, offers great benefits:
• Approved ECE R110
• Temperature range -60 to 120˚C
• Softening temperature: 134˚C for Fuel Lock vs. 86˚C for HDPE
• No change in blowmoulding/tooling required with regard to HDPE
