The Musicians kitchen

• As we can see this kitchen is very organized. When talking about the factor of space this kitchen has everything in proportion and is very organized. You can see that the plates inside the cabinets are organized and that every single inch of space in occupied in this kitchen

• Another thing that is interesting is that the format of the kitchen represents space as well. There is enough room for the person to move around and it is very easy to get things from the kitchen. These are our cultures kitchen in modern day.

The clock and eating table

• When we come in the living room of the musician(uncle) we see that he sets up his space very well. We can see that he puts the clock right in the middle of the room because time is the most important to him. Also his eating table is very space dependent.

• Another thing that shows the use of space is decoration. The way that the musician decorates his eating table with flowers shows the use of space. In our culture today most people decorate their houses with some kinds of ornaments.

The instrumental use

• This object that we see here is a speedometer. This is used in piano to determine the speed of the music that you are playing. It can go all the way from dante to allegro. This meter is very important to the musician and he gives a lot of space towards it.

• As we can see he puts the instrument on top of his piano. He puts it on the very side of the piano so it wont occupy all the space. Also not only is this about space but again its about the decoration techniques as well.

The Living Room

• Here the musician uses the aspect of space in his living room. As we can see everything in this room is exactly in proportion to each other. We can see that all of the couches are exactly a few inches away from each other. Also we can see that there is a big amount of space to be used in this living room.

• Looking at the wall we can see that again there is a proportion to this to. All the curtains are exactly a few inches apart. And as we can see there are two paintings which are on the same wall but opposite sides. This is how the living room is using the aspect of space.

The Dinner Table

• As we can see many people in our American culture can relate to this sort of dining table. As we can see the table is always centered in the most common and comfortable place in the house. It takes up a lot of space in the house. And as we see in this photo it is right in the center of the house.

• Another aspect that we can see here is again the aspect of decorations. If you look around the room you can see pictures and how well proportioned this table is to the house. It seems as though it is perfectly right in the center. This is another element that would fall into the use of space.

The Drawers and Cabinets

• In this photo not only do we see the space aspect but we can also see valuable materials. First according to space the musician has place his cabinet exactly on the wall. In common day cultural societies everyone likes to organize their furniture properly next to the wall so they can have more space in the rest of the house.

• If we look in the cabinet we can find valuables. In common day society people put these valuables so they can show off to their friends. Just in case someone comes to their house they put it so those people can notice it really quickly in a blink of an eye. These are how valuables and space are included in common day cultures.

The musicians bedroom

• First we can see that when it comes to space his bedroom is a big mess. Everything is very compact and very squished. We see that his computer is next to all of his work and also his trophies and personal items are all on this one desk. This image is very compact.

• Something similar that we notice about the musicians bedroom is that again everything is pushed against the wall. He has more room for his bed and more room for walking. In other cultures sometimes people have different ways of using space in their house. It can either be compact or simple.

Arts, and Artifacts

• This image is a collection of rare wild butterflies. From this image we can tell that the culture of the musician was an interest in butterflies. As we can see he put this up on a clear but thin wall of space. He uses space very timidly in this photo.

• As we see the size of this object is not that big but again this is a decoration that is added to the house. Again the musicians goal is to make this artifact get the attention of people that walk into his house.

The Collection

• In this photo we can see that the musician likes to read a lot of books and also likes to collect things. Again we see that he incorporates space in a very compact way. Everything in this room is squished together and very dense looking.

• From the back of this room there is again a lot of space. So one thing that was familiar with the work of this musician was that he liked to have a lot of room to himself. Also as we can see his sons wii is in this photo as well.

The musicians Work

• Last as we can see this is the piano that the musician composes his work on. When we look at this photo we can see that the piano is positioned in the center of the back living room. Also we can see some of his works on the piano stool.

• When it comes to decoration we can see that he decorated his piano with candles and a little statue of Bach. Also jus the way that it is centered is perfect. This is how the musician used space in his house. And this is how common day cultures used the aspect of space. Every culture has a different aspect of space.
