Pressure Decay Procedure. Duration : 45 minutes. Each team will be given 45 minutes to test, plot the graph and identify the damaged water filter clusters. The team shall complete the testing within 30 minutes and the remaining 15 minutes shall be used for presenting their findings and report. Each team is required to plot a minimum of three graphs, Pressure against Time. The first graph shall represent a system without damage filter cluster. The second graph represents a damaged filter cluster(s). The third graph represents each cluster of filter, over the entire module. Each module has about 10 filter clusters. The testing pressure shall be limited to a maximum of 1 bar only. The air compressor provided is rated slightly more than 1 bar. The team will require to work together and analysis the data collected. At the end of the session, the team will be asked to identify the damaged filter cluster. The team will submit their findings and report. We will study the information to verify if they understood the method that they used and applied. Each team successfully complete this exercise is awarded up to 10 litres of water, which will be added to their final total water collected. Materials. Water Cluster filter model stand representing a water recycle plant. Compressor. Graph Paper Writing Pad. Please submit graph and report to the volunteer at the end of the session. >>>>> end of procedure <<<<<

Pressure Decay Procedure.

Duration : 45 minutes.

• Each team will be given 45 minutes to test, plot the graph and identify the

damaged water filter clusters.

• The team shall complete the testing within 30 minutes and the remaining 15

minutes shall be used for presenting their findings and report.

Each team is required to plot a minimum of three graphs, Pressure against

Time. The first graph shall represent a system without damage filter cluster.

The second graph represents a damaged filter cluster(s). The third graph

represents each cluster of filter, over the entire module. Each module has

about 10 filter clusters.

The testing pressure shall be limited to a maximum of 1 bar only. The air

compressor provided is rated slightly more than 1 bar.

• The team will require to work together and analysis the data collected.

• At the end of the session, the team will be asked to identify the damaged

filter cluster.

• The team will submit their findings and report.

• We will study the information to verify if they understood the method that

they used and applied.

• Each team successfully complete this exercise is awarded up to 10 litres of

water, which will be added to their final total water collected.

Materials.

• Water Cluster filter model stand representing a water recycle plant.

• Compressor.

• Graph Paper

• Writing Pad.

Please submit graph and report to the volunteer at the end of the session.
