Catchment Water (Rain Water) - Finals Duration : 45 minutes. Each team will be given 45 minutes to prepare and collect as much rain water by designing a collection centre system. The team will require to work together to design a water collecting system, using the materials given. The team will also need to be creative to design the system, whereby when the rains starts, at the end of 40 minutes, the designed system will collect as much water. The rain will fall over the whole tank. At the end of the rain, the water collected will be calibrated. The total amount water collected will be added to the team final water collection. Materials: One METER of thin steel wire. One meter of masking tape only. One pair of scissor One wire cutter. 3 pieces of one (1) litre plastic bottle without caps and the plastic label. One calibrated jug. Please hand over the calibrated jug after collecting the rain water to the front desk for calibration and adding onto your total water score. >>>>> end of procedure <<<<<
