TransportAPI is the only UK provider of public transport information, journey

planning and transport social media updates through a scaled data-as-a-

service (DaaS) platform

Our platform is a based on a RESTful API and offers information from official

open data sources on Britain’s public transport:

• Future: timetables for passenger/freight services, journey plans by public

transport, cycle and car, passenger fares and service alterations

• Present: live departures for passenger/freight services, service running

dashboards, transport social media updates, route and stop maps

• Past: performance monitoring data, service archives, social media history
