Objective: To summarize progress that Radiology has made and our vision for the future to best meet the needs of our medical staff and all other customers.

Report turnaround times have been reduced.

Reading Rooms have been improved upon enabling better working environment

Highlights: Procedures are considerably faster, easier on patients,improved workflow, improved image quality, allowed consolidation ofall outpatient and inpatient chest x-rays, and staff “love” the equipment.

Soon to be completed Interventional Suite at Hillcrest

Design for 64 Slice Volume CT Scanner (VCT) now on the Drawing Board

Everything possible should be done to expedite the completion of this update. We are one of few hospitals to still be using a single slice and 4 slice.

Have reengineered to cut costs by reducing footprint. Everything possible should be done to expedite the completion of this update. We are one of few hospitals to still be using a single slice and 4 slice.

Progress at Thornton Since 2003 Re: Interventional Suite

New suite opened in March 2006!

Plans for 64 Slice Volume CT Scanner (VCT) in film file room and CVC rooms are on the drawing board.

Everything possible should be done to replace the 16 slice mobile CT with a 64 slice VCT..
