WebQuest: A pedagogic tool

Each hyperlink on the left hand side enables the student to perform the respective tasks such as Title (as shown above), Introduction, Task, Process.

The evaluation webpage suggests how the various objectives are evaluated.

Clicking the hyperlink ‘Teacher’, presents the work (shown in LHS) to be performed by the teacher before giving the assignment to the students.

The hyperlinks on L.H.S of the following interface illustrates the work to be performed by the teacher.

Thus WebQuest can be used as a tool for assigning projects to students individually or in groups. It also aids the teacher in presenting the topic through the framework shown earlier.

SQWorl-An Online Service Tool, that combines many links into one.

SQWorl can be accessed from http://www.sqworl.com/index.php

Visit the link, click register and create a user name and password for you.

Then, create a group by giving a title and description as shown in next figure and click ‘start’.

You will be provided with public URL and asked to add your link. As shown below.

Anki : A learning tool to improve basic skill of cognitive domain.

Anki can be used online as well as offline.

The online version can be accessed from http://anki.ichi2.net/account/other

By clicking ‘Add’ we get the following interface, where I have added information related to ‘staffing’ in front and back of the card.

The Question and Answer must be entered on the front and back of the cards as shown in next figure.

To prepare more cards, click ‘Add’ and prepare different ones.
