WEB 1.0

• It is a 1st version

• Basic internet with informative content

• No interactivity between the information provider and its consumer

• Specialist used to call that time “Read-only Era”

• It is the “readable” phrase of the World Wide Web with flat data

• professionalism of the creators/copywriters/content managers is an advantage of web 1.0

WEB 2.0

• Advanced technology and applications including wikis, blogs, RSS and social networking sites

• Introduced by O’Reillyin 1999

• User can publish their own content through some basic steps, which was not possible earlier in the web 1.0

• It is the “writable” phrase of the World Wide Web with interactive data

• You tube, Facebook and My space illustrate the meaning of this kind of web

• Known as the Semantic Web

• Tells the computer how to take huge data and deliver in a usable way

• It is the “executable” phrase of Word Wide Web with dynamic applications, interactive services, and “machine-to-machine” interaction

• Able to make a complex question which is analyzing by the search engine and all possible alternatives are organising.
