For a small organization:
• Your hub site could be your company intranet
• The entry point to your Digital Workplace
1
For a larger organization:
• Your hub site would be a collection for your sites – provides aggregate view of multiple sites
• A hub site can be a division intranet, a department hub or a location site
• You would still need an over reaching intranet (there is no hub of hubs concept yet)
