WLIDSVC.EXE is the actual Windows Live Sign-In Assistant service. It works with the WLIDSVCM.EXE process to act as the service monitor for the computer’s operating system.

Disable the service (if desired), by opening Services.msc from entering the command in the “Search Text Field” after clicking the “Start” button or entering on the command line.

Find Windows Live Sign-in Assistant on the list of programs and disable. WLIDSVC.EXE will no longer be running on your computer.
