Introduction

• Some says programming is difficult and for others it is so easy.

• It not only depends on your capabilities, but your attitude for work.

• Programming is hard indeed, but not at all as difficult as life of a crook or a joker who pretend, lie and act for living.

• Knowing what you do, life is going to be much more interesting and enjoyable for a programmer.

You play with a dumb machine

• Computer is dumb machine.

• Unless you give precise instruction, the computer can not understand.

• Working with a dumb is obviously difficult.

• Therefore, programmer must be smart.– A dumb and a dumber will never make a good

combination

Computer is bossy (A necessary evil)

• Dumb computer is obviously bossy too.

• But a good reason why computer languages are made bossy is to make programs precise and unambiguous.– Preciseness is one of the big reason why

people like to use software rather than get things done by a human.

No cheating in programming

• What you code is what is run.

• There is nothing called hiding design or coding bugs.

• Bugs always surfaces.– Because when software is running, it is not

under your control anymore.

• Do it right is the only option!

• No point pleading to get a program to work.

• If you want to get it done, just design the solution and write the code right.

• That is so cool that the talented programmers get better opportunity.

• Some people use to get some work done by flirting others.

• Computer is not a petty human.

• Mere flirters have no edge in programming.

• Programming is for genuine people.

Programmers are problem solvers• There are plenty of problem creators

appearing as professionals.– All lawyers exploit other’s unnecessary problems for their living.– Most of marketing people persuade non-necessary needs of the

people for their living.– Some of those who are lazy or incompetent to work, strive to be a

person mere managing other’s work.

• But, programming is solving genuine & real world problems.

• Programming is a genuine and ethical profession.

Logical thinking matters

• Astrology/superstitious is for dumb

• Science is for curios.

• Programming is for logical thinkers.

• Programming is for analytical mind.

• Logical and analytical thinking will make you wise too. – A bonus for your life

• If you are a smart person and good at what you do,– No need to beg others for survival.– No need to flirt for survival.– You get equal opportunity.– You get freedom (unless you are a slave of

computer)– You become wise.
