Our Origins• In 1866, began business as Union Paste Company

(UPACO) of Boston, MA. Specialized in adhesives and coatings.

• In 1936, expanded into the web coating and converting business. New York Laminating Co. (NYLCO) etc. joined Worthen Industries.

• In 1980s, integrated the UPACO and NYLCO divisions under the Worthen name and reorganized structure into business units.
