GEOGRAPHY Canada is a

country, consisting of ten provinces and three territories, in the northern part of the continent of North America.

It extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres in total, making it the world's second-largest country by total area and the fourth-largest by land area.

Nova Scotia  is one of Canada's three Maritime provinces, and one of the four provinces which form Atlantic Canada.  Its provincial capital is Halifax.

Prince Edward Island  is a province of Canada consisting of the island of the same name, as well as several much smaller island. It is one of the three Maritime Province and is the smallest province in both land area and population. It is the only province of Canada to have no land boundary.

Capital Charlottetown

New Brunswick is one of Canada's three Maritime province and is the only province constitutionally bilingual.

It was created as a result of the partitioning of the British Colony of Nova Scotia in 1784.

 Fredericton is the capital, Moncton is the largest metropolitan area and Saint John is the most populous city.
