The Bhaja Caves is a national monument and believed to be the oldest Buddhist caves. Its main

attraction is the 22 rock cut caves which depict various sculptures. Karla caves is a colony of

caves, built by the Buddhist monks in between the 2nd to 3rd century BC. The intricate rock cut

carving; huge pillars and the magnificent chaitya are its major attraction. Rajmachi is a

picturesque region consisting of two stubborn peaks, Manaranjan and Shrivardhan. It offers a

beautiful around the region. You can visit here to Kondhavi fort, Bhairavnath temple, wildlife

sanctuary, Rajmachi fort. The Lohagad Fort means the Iron Fort , it is the one of the forts of

Chatrapati Shivaji, it was used to house the prisoners, but later it was used to keep the looted

treasure. It is adorned with the elements and styles of Maharashtra architecture.
