Australia's great coastline covers 59,736km (37,119 miles),the country is lapped by the Arafura and Timor Seas to the north, the Coral and Tasman Seas of the South Pacific to the east, the Southern Ocean to the south, and the Indian Ocean to the west.

Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, Australia.

It is situated on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour.

It was Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon.

Taronga zooTaronga Zoo is the city zoo of Sydney.

It is located on the shores of Sydney Harbor in the suburb of Mosman.

Taronga Zoo is home to over 4,000 animals of 340 species. It has a zoo shop, a cafe, and information centre.

In February 2003, it became the second zoo in Australia to breed the platypus.

Bondi is one of the most visited tourist sites in Australia.

Numerous festivals and events have made Bondi Beach a popular destination among travellers.

It is located on the banks of the Yarra River.

There are some rare species such as: Grey nurse sharks, Bamboo sharks, Seadragons.

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium formerly had a giant squid exhibit (frozen, not alive), which has been moved to UnderWater World in Queensland.

Cohunu koala parkCohunu Koala Park is located on fourteen hectares of natural Australian bushland just 40 minutes from the city of Perth in Western Australia. People feed many of the free roaming animals.A miniature railway built by volunteers runs around the park.

Royal botanic gardens

The Royal Botanic Gardens is a major botanical garden located in the heart of Sydney.The Botanic Garden once housed a zoo.The Garden forms a large natural amphitheatre, wrapped around and sloping down towards the 'stage' of Farm Cove.It is open every day of the year and access is free.The Palm Grove Centre features the Palm Grove itself, a Cafe, Garden Shop and the Botanic Gardens Restaurant.
