How does CO2 contribute to the traffic accident involving tour bases?

The acceptable level of CO2 for a tour bus is 1000pm

The levels of CO2 that can cause an accident due to effects of Downiness, fatigue, sleepy, a stuffy sensation, deepen breathing, headache, difficulty concentration

The more passengers that are on a tour bus the higher the risk

Challenges Data Inaccuracy- the driver open and closed the windows and doors which lowers the CO2 level.

The Indoor Air Quality Monitor used could only measure a maximum of 3000ppm as such the CO2 level could have been at 6000ppm. All three days measure the maximum 3000ppm.

Decision TakenThe Taiwan EPA- Announced the first group of indoor spaces- If the CO2 concentrations in tour buses are not reduced the bus drivers may be penalized.

Co2 concentrations could be reduced, if changes were made to the circulation/ventilation system

Data AnalysisTemperature change (AC system) reduces the CO2 level

The number of passengers determine the level of CO2

Mileage reduced by 5 - 25%

The need to reduce the energy consumption provided an incentive for low rate of ventilation
