According to legend, since 876 the Cathedral has housed a tunic of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Sancta Camisia It is located in the medieval town of Chartres, about 50 miles from Paris.

The Nave and its inlaid labyrinth - built  c1200

The windows were given to the Cathedral in 1230 by Queen Blanche of Castille
