Did you know that… …Chittorgarh Fort, covering an area of 700 acres, is the largest fort in India. It is home to several palaces, temples and other significant structures.
The majestic Chittorgarh Fort has 22 water bodies and is also known as the Water Fort
Tale Of The Two TowersThe 9-storeyed Vijay Stambha or
Victory Tower has beautiful pillared balconies.
The 7-storeyed Kirti Stambha or Tower of Fame has elaborate Jain
carvings on its walls.

Rani Padmini’s PalaceLegend has it that Ala-ud-Din Khilji was enamoured by
Chittorgarh only because of Rani Padmini’s fame and beauty. It was at this 3-storeyed palace that he first caught a glimpse

Getting There
Air: Udaipur Airport (113 kilometres) is the closest to Chittorgarh and has regular flights from all major cities in India.
Rail: Chittorgarh is well-connected by rail to Delhi. The Udaipur-Jaipur Super Express also links it to the two Rajasthani cities.
Road: Chittorgarh enjoys connectivity to Delhi and Jaipur by NH8 and to Ajmer by NH79.
