Kim Mason, a Personal Travel Manager with over 20 years experience, combines her passion for snowsports with her family travel expertise to bring you Family Snow Safaris (FSS).

So what is a Family Snow Safari? FSS is an Australian-hosted ski tour open to families of all ages. No minimum or maximum age! We have the best local ski guides escorting you to the secret haunts on the mountain, deluxe accommodation, group dining experiences and activities which means some serious FUN. And it’s not just for the adults – your kids will have a blast too!

Meet Kim Mason

WELCOME TO BIG WHITE Arrive into Kelowna Airport for your transfer to Big White Ski Resort. Upon arrival at the resort, you will be greeted by your local Australian hosts and assisted with check-in.

Tonight we will meet at the Big White Chair for a tour of the village and welcome drinks. The rest of the evening is yours to explore the village and sample the local cuisine.

Day 8GUIDED SKIING DAYS Enjoy our full day guided skiing days with our local guides (9am to 3:30pm daily). At the end of the day, we head to the White Crystal Inn for some well deserved Après-skiing.

MORE TO EXPLORE Today is yours to explore the mountain on your own or perhaps book a ski lesson for the Terrain Park, take in a massage or even try out Cross Country Skiing.

Tonight we enjoy a group dinner at the Blarney Stone to talk about the day’s adventures (meal does not include beverages for the adults).

GUIDED SKIING DAY Meet at 9am for your guided skiing day with our local guides (approx 9am – 3:30pm) and enjoy Après at White Crystal.

SKIING, SKATING AND TUBING A free day for you to discover more of the mountain. Tonight we enjoy a bonfire and hot chocolate around the Ice Skating Rink near Happy Valley Lodge and enjoy our tubing pass (fun for all ages!) Please remember to dress warmly!

Afterwards enjoy dinner at the Moose Lounge in The Happy Valley Day Lodge for our Après (includes appetizer and drink per person).

SLEIGH RIDE TO DINNER A free day for you to enjoy the mountain. Tonight we meet at Laras Gondola base for our private winter evening sleigh ride to the Warming Hut for dinner.

FAREWELLTime to say good bye to Big White or consider extending your ski trip to Silver Star or Revelstoke with one of our add-on packages!
