Why did the Germans come to New Zealand?

Reasons for German Immigration!!

They came because of the war.

Some of the Germans came earlier to New Zealand because of the land.

The Germans also came to New Zealand to seek a better life in the country New Zealand.

When the Germans came to New Zealand!!!

In the 1840's time was difficult for people working on the land in Germany.

1930's German refugees arrived.

Germany's loss was New Zealand's gain.

The first group of Germans arrival on a ship in 1843 and settled in a village close to Nelson.

What the challenges they faced?

Not being able to speak English.

Adapting to new cultures.

Being treated as hostile aliens during the war.

They were separated from their extended families who remand in Germany.

Conclusion

New Zealand is a great country and is filled with famous people and places. It has a good environment and lots of land marks. The Germans came on a ship to New Zealand, the country Germany was in danger because the Germans were having a war. Some of the Germans came earlier to New Zealand because of the land and to seek a better life. The German immigrants are part of the nation and have enhanced our culture. At almost all weekend farmer markets you will find new immigrants or descendants of immigrants selling high quality foods and furniture. Remember without the Germans have Prezels and gummie bears
