Searching the Proquest database

Start your research from the library homepage, www.library.niagara.edu

Click on “Use a Research Guide” to begin.

Scroll down to the heading titled “Education”

Click on the last link to “Services and Information Resources Available…”

Click on the database titled, “Canadian Business and Current Affairs (CBCA)”

Double click “Search Proquest Direct from Off Campus”

Log into most databases from off campus by using your MyNU log in.

Select the database, CBCA Canadian Business and Current Affairs Education via Proquest

All databases are selected. Just click on “Continue”

Type in your keywords using AND to connect them. Double click “Search”.

There are 54 results from scholarly journals. Look for the link to the full-text of the article. If it isn’t there, and you want a copy, request a copy through ILLiad. For example, look at

result number 1.

Read the abstract to see if this article is necessary for your paper. If so, click on the link to request with ILLiad. Click on the link, “Click here to order Full

text…” on the right hand side of the webpage.

Log into your Illiad account.

Your form is already filled out. Click on the “Submit request” button at the bottom of the page. Your order may take up to 7-10 days. You will receive an email when your article is delivered. Log into your ILLiad accounts to obtain your article electronically.
