Sequoia National Park

If you don’t all ready know what Sequoia National Park is maybe

you will know why it is so famous,Its trees. Sequoia National Park

is home to the the largest trees in the world they are called

Sequoias. There are tons of things to do , sights to see, and warm

cabins to curl up in at Sequoia. Sequoia is located in beautiful

Sierra Nevada on the southern half,right next to Kings canyon its

neighboring park. The park is a testament to the worlds beauty. If

you are looking for the giants of Nevada you will find them here,

there are not only the largest trees but the biggest mountains,

caverns & canyons.

The wildlife in Sequoia is abundant. Sequoia looks very much

like it did when it was just some forest, the people at Sequoia

have kept the forest alone for the most part. The largest Sequoia

is called General Grant and was declared the nations Christmas

tree. The park holds the worlds five largest trees, the park also

holds over 300 animals,and over1,400 plants species. There are

hundreds of thousands of acres of land there. There is also

tons of History in the park. Native American Indians traveled to

the forests of Sequoia before it was even known as a park.

The park was first established in 1890.

There is also tons of things to do there. There is a variety of

things to do depending on the temperature. There are tons of

activities,there are thousands of amazing hiking trails all over the

park. You can fish for Trout in the fine lakes and streams of the

Sequoia. There are fine sights to see like,the Crystal Caves,Kern

River Canyon,the park also encourages Winter sports.There are

nature walks,naturalist programs,visitor centers,and interpretive

museums that is fun for all ages.

Don’t worry you do not need to sleep in a tent,there are

thousands of places to stay.There are over six-teen places to stay.

Potwisha is open all year long others are not like, Buckeye flat

which is only open in late spring through out labor day weekend

and early September. A lot of people say that Wuksachi lodge is

the perfect destination to sit down and relax in. The Wuksachi is

the newest lodge. Ranch champage, Gateway Lodge, The River

Jewel, Holiday Inn Visala, Western Holiday Lodge, Comfort Inn &

Suites Sequioa Kings Canyon,Lazy J Ranch, Wuksachi

Lodge,Holiday Inn Express Dinuba, Sequioa Village Inn, The Sierra

Lodge,River Inn & Cabins, Sequioa Motel, Buckeye Tree Lodge

these are 16 different cabin lodges.

Come to Sequoia, there is plenty of places to stay. Plenty

things to do,plenty of sight to see.There is tons of history and

wilderness too.There is deftinitely tons of Fun!!!
