GANGA PUSHKAR YATRA

Pushkar is one of the oldest cities of India, it has become a place of Hindu Pilgrimage because of holy pushkar lake constructed by Lord Brahma and it has many old temples. Ganga pushkar yatra is also has an important holy place of Hindu.

TOUR SCHEDULE

Day Schedule Night Stay

1 Arrive at Delhi Airport / Railway Station and proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur. Later, visit the Amber Fort, City Palace, Albert Hall, Hawa Mahal & Jantar Mantar. Evening , depending upon the time available you can visit Chokhidhani.

Overnight Stay at Hotel.

2 After breakfast , proceed to Ajmer. On arrival, visit the famous Dargah of Salim Chisti and then drive to Pushkar. Visit the only Brahma Temple in India and Pushkar Lake. Evening, drive back to Jaipur.

Overnight Stay.

3 Morning, proceed to Agra. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival at Agra, visit the Agra fort and the famous Taj Mahal. Proceed to Mathura. Visit Janmabhumi (the birth place of Lord Krishna). Later, drive back to Delhi.

Tour Concludes.

Amber Fort : Also known as Amer Fort, Amber Fort is one of the principal tourist attractions in the Jaipur area, located high on a hill. Amer Fort was built by Raja Man Singh and is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Rajput elements.

Jantar Mantar : The Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II between 1727 and 1734. The name is derived from jantar, instrument, and Mantar, formula, therefore jantar mantar means literally 'calculation instrument'.

Hawa Mahal : Also known as Palace of the Breeze was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Its unique five-storey exterior is also akin to the honeycomb of the beehive with its 953 small windows called jharokhas.

Albert Hall : Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum of the State of Rajasthan. The building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and was opened as public museum in 1887. It has rich collection of paintings, carpets, ivory, stone, metal sculptures, colorful crystal works, etc.

City Palace : Including the Chandra and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings, City Palace was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the Kachwaha Rajput clan. The Chandra Mahal palace now houses a museum but the most part of it is still a royal residence.

Chokhi Dhani : Chokhi Dhani, a village themed resort, is a representation of the culture, traditions and lifestyle of village life in Rajasthan. Chokhi Dhani village consists of an ethnic village theme resort with multicuisine restaurants, banquet halls, spa, barbecue and sheesha (Hookah) lounge.

Brahma Temple At Pushkar : Brahma Temple is located at Pushkar. Pushkar is a sacred place for Hindus. The lake at Pushkar is believed to have been created by Lord Brahma himself and has the same sanctity for' indus, as Manasarovar in Tibet.

Dargah Ajmer : Historically, Ajmer has a strategic importance as Gazani Mohammed invaded the city many times from Afghanistan. Later, it becomes a favorite residence of the Moghuls. It is an important place for Muslim Pilgrims.

Taj Mahal : The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal and is regarded by many as the finest example of Mughal architecture. The Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum located in Agra.

Agra Fort : Agra Fort is a monument, about 2.5 km northwest of the Taj Mahal. A royal residence of Mughals for generations, the fort was used to be the site of a battle during the Indian rebellion of 1857. The fort has a semicircular plan; its chord lies parallel to the river while its walls are seventy feet high.

Fatehpur Sikri : Fatehpur Sikri is a city and built near the much older Sikri. Akbar named the city, Fatehabad, with Fateh, a word of Arabic origin in Persian, meaning "victory"; it was later called Fatehpur Sikri. The city served few Mughal kings as their capital.

Mathura (The Birth Place of Lord Krishna) : Krishna Janma Bhoomi marks the original spot of the birth of Lord Krishna in the Katra Keshav Deo Temple. The main shrine leads to a small room with a raised platform, and pictures of Krishna and tales of his birth adorning the walls.
