Day 0 - November 21, 2009Depart USA on Saturday for Cape Town
Flight options include direct to South Africa on SAA or Delta, or via Europe on other carriers

Day 1 - November 22, 2009Arrive in Cape Town and transfer directly to your boutique hotel, located right at the foot of Table Mountain
Check into and settle in at the luxurious Alta Bay, your home for the next 4 nights
Enjoy a light dinner on the deck of Alta Bay, overlooking the Mother City of Cape Town
Day 2 - November 23, 2009After breakfast at Alta Bay, meet your professional guide for a city tour — Learn about the city’s colonial past, District Six, the City Bowl, and other important info
Later you’ll visit Robben Island, erstwhile home of Nelson Mandela during his Apartheid-era imprisonment
After a sunset cocktail atop Table Mountain, dinner tonight is in a fab Cape Town restaurant, hosted by a local historian and raconteur
Day 3 - November 24, 2009After breakfast, head down to the Cape of Good Hope with exciting sightseeing along the way
See where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet, literally, at the bottom of the world
Experience fishing villages, baboons, and have lunch with the penguins
Dinner tonight is on your own back in Cape Town
Day 4 - November 25, 2009Your free day in Cape Town! Explore on your own or with others in the group
Do you want to parasail? Dive with sharks? Head to the beach? We can arrange!
Dinner this evening at one of the city’s best restaurants
After dinner, head out to explore the gay nightlife
Day 5 - November 26, 2009Leisurely morning to further explore Cape Town, or again partake in any one of many optional activities
In the afternoon, we head north up the Western Cape coast, en-route to Kersefontein, for the “Out of Africa” experience with farmer Julian Melck
Thanksgiving Dinner and wine tasting, hosted by Julian in the manor house
Day 6 - November 27, 2009After breakfast with Julian, head west thru the Zwartland with a lunch stop in Paarl at one of Savvy Navigator’s favorite restaurants
Check in at Le Quartier Français in Franschhoek, your 5 Star accommodations in the “Gourmet Capital of South Africa”
Dinner tonight is on your own at one of the many fine restaurants within walking distance
Day 7 - November 28, 2009
Wine tasting today at premium estates during the day, with alfresco lunch in the vineyards
Increase your South African wine knowledge with direct, fun interaction with leading local winemakers
Tonight, savor a multi-course dinner in the Le Quartier Français tasting room (one of South Africa’s finest)
Day 8 - November 29, 2009After breakfast, depart for your flight to Kruger National Park airport. Transfer to a private charter to our camp’s airstrip in the Sabi Sands game reserve
Spend four nights at the Londolozi Varty Camp – private accommodations in the bush that take luxury to a whole new level.
Day 9 - November 30, 2009Safari! Sunrise and evening game drives, with our own open vehicles and dedicated ranger and tracker guides.
During the day, partake in many activities Londolozi has to offer, or just hang out by at the lodge pool, or your private plunge pool
Day 10/11 - December 1-2Morning and evening game drives, with mid-day free for yoga, gym, hikes in the bush, or just plain lounging about
Enjoy sundowner cocktails in the bush, fabulous private dinners in camp, around the Boma bonfire, or in the bush under the African stars
Prepare to be pleasantly surprised at Londolozi!
Day 12 - December 3, 2009After breakfast and the final game drive, head out to the camp‘s air strip for a private charter flight back to Johannesburg
Arrive in JNB in time for easy connections back to the USA, Canada or Europe
Arrival back home the following day, Friday December 4th
Vic Falls, December 3-6, 2009
Optional 3-night extension to Livingstone, Zambia, to visit Victoria Falls
One night in Johannesburg at a luxury boutique hotel, followed by 2 nights at the luxurious Islands of Siankaba lodge, located in the Zambezi river
Home on December 7, via JNB
