beautiful landscapes and genuine villages. The route end in Sant Feliu de Guixols, by the Mediterranean Sea.

We propose a route through a “Green-Way” called “The Carrilet” beginning in Olot, main town of Garrotxa: a town

surrounded by old extinct volcanoes where gastronomy is also a highlight. During the route we will go through small

towns as Amer and Les Planes de Hostoles. We will be visiting Girona and its historical and medieval city centre. After

Cassa de la Selva and Llagostera, our route will end at Sant Feliu de Guixols where you can chill and enjoy by the

Mediterranean Sea.



Day by day

Day 1 Arrival at Olot

Self arrival at Olot. Accommodation.

Located in the valley of Fluvia River and surrounded by old extinct volcanoes,

Olot is the main town of La Garrotxa. Accommodation.

Day 2 Olot - Les planes de Hostoles / Amer Approx. 23 o 31 km.

Breakfast. We follow the rout along an old narrow railway line (The Carrilet).

Passing by areas of beautiful landscape and genuine villages as Les Planes,

d´Hostoles or Amer. Accommodation.

Day 3 Les Planes de Hostoles /Amer - Girona. Approx. 25-31 km

Breakfast. We reach Girona, after travelling through villages as La Cellera de Ter,

Anglès, Bonmatí, Bescanó…Accommodation.

Day 4 Girona – Casa de la Selva / Llagostera Approx. 20- 25 km

Breakfast. Girona. Crossed by 4 rivers, is surrounded by walls and medieval

remains. Departure to La Selva region. Accommodation at Cassà de la Selva or

Llagostera.

Day 5 Casa de la Selva / Llagostera - Sant Feliu de Guixols. Approx. 17-25

km

Breakfast. Our final leg takes us to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Before

reaching our final destination we pass through Santa Cristina d´Aro and Platja

d´Aro. Bike drop off and accommodation.

Day 6 Sant Feliu de Guixols

Breakfast. Sant Feliu de Guixols is a genuine and monumental Mediterranean

town preserving a rich heritage and surrounded by pinetree forests and small and

hidden beaches. You can spend this day exploring the steep coast, swimming in

the Mediterranean or simply enjoying its gastronomy

Day 7 Sant Feliu de Guixols – Departure

Breakfast. Individual departure or you can extend your stay in Sant Feliu de

Guixols or Barcelona.

General Information

Transport of luggage: Luggage must be ready at 8:30-9:00 at the reception or the hotel/hostel. Luggage can be

collected at next destination at around 16.00.

Reaching Olot:

Easily from Barcelona, Girona, Figueres, Ripoll, Vic. Service offered by TEISA

Bus service on weekends drops notably. So, plan ahead.

Buses from Sant Feliu de Guixols to Girona or Barcelona:

The bus company SARFA (www.sarfa.com) offers its services flowing from Sant Feliu de Guixols station to Girona

station or Barcelona station of Nord.

City buses: Bus Transversal runs between Les Planes d'Hostoles and Besalú, but only on weekdays. Olot has city buses

(TPO) runnin Monday to Saturady.

Taxi: Many towns in the area have a taxi service.

Train:

No train service serves Olot. Main train station close to Garrotxa is Girona. Bus station is adjacent to the train station.

The closest train station to La Garrotxa is at Vic, but the train station with most and best connections is at Girona.

Trains from Barcelona, Madrid, París, Montpellier, Zurich and Milan stop at Girona. Bus services from Ripoll, Vic or

Figueres train stations are infrequent.

Private transfers can be arranged on request

Bikes are delivered on day 2 at 09:00 am and must be dropped off on day 5 at 18.00 at Sant Feliu de Guixols. Bikes are

equipped with lock and repair kit and Saddlebags.

In Catalonia an overnight tax has been introduced in all cities. This tax is not included in our tour price and has to

be paid by the guests on the spot in the hotels. It varies from 0.50 Euro to 2 Euro per person per night, depending on

the category of the hotel.

Tour price

Deposit: Payment of deposit for the reservation or registration of the trip is that the customer accepts the final

itinerary, price, indicated supplements, high season, minimum group ... etc. and also the general conditions and

specifications of the travelling contract.

Group formation

Some itineraries, most of them guided tours, the base Price is calculated for groups of 6 people or more. In the table

we also indicate the possible supplements for lower ranges, for example, 4-5 people or 2-3 people. In any case, the

customer will accept the charge that corresponds to the final formation of the group. Each itinerary points out how

many people are needed to do the tour, usually 2 or 4 people.

Prices

Prices are given in euros (€). Our prices include only what appears on the programs and do not include fees or other

costs of transportation to and from Spain – Catalonia.

Changes in the Price of the trip

Exode Bike reserves the right to change or increase the confirmed prices in case typing errors. Always before booking.

• Reservations must clearly detail the type of room preferred, twin, double, or single room.

We recommend that you book in advance.

Payment

Only by Bank Transfer

Exode bike provides that number. This number should always be indicated in the “concept” of the deposit, and all

transfers made of this booking.

3) Payment deadlines

3.1 40% of the total amount when the booking is confirmed.

3.2 The remainder of the total payment: 30 days before the arrival of the guests.

If the booking is requested in less than 30 days before the arrival: total payment.

Any changes or amendments requested by the client once the services are confirmed involve cancellation fees for the

services previously booked. And Exode bike will charge 50 euros for any change.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made always in writing and are applied only on the day we receive the email.

Cancellation fees:

Management fee: 150€ per person from the moment that Exodebike confirms your booking.

- 31-45 days prior to holiday start date - 30 % of total holiday cost

- 15 -30 days prior to holiday start date – 50 % of total holiday cost

- From 14 -1 days before arrival – 90%

- No show - 100 %

Cancellation fees are calculated in percentage of final payment amount on invoice issued.

Insurance

Exodebike highly recommends clients to take insurance against cancellation of reserved services and personal travel

and medical insurance!

Additional Information

Exodebike indicates for informative purposes about the features of the route and its difficulty level. Exode bike

believes that the client accepts in this inscription, booking and execution of the trip, the special features of contracting

an alternative trip with a component of physical and sports effort. Consequently, the client relieves Exodebike of any

responsibility.

Likewise, the client assumes their own responsibility for their physical conditioned any limitation they may have. Exode

Viatges does not assume any responsibility in any case. Exodebike do not accept the inclusion in the tours of people

with physical deficiencies or conditions that medically discourage to make the trip.

When the clients sign up and book our services, they accept the features of the routes and if the trip or activity

includes a guide, they undertake to follow his instructions all the time.

For security reasons, Exodebike may change the itinerary or the schedule because of the weather conditions or if

participant’s physical abilities do not correspond to those expressed in the registration.

In carrying out the activity the clients agree not to be under the influence of alcohol and/or any kind of drugs, as well

as any other medication that might compromise their stability, reflexes or that affect in any way their capacity.

The clients declare that they do not suffer from any cardiovascular disease, they are not in state of pregnancy, or they

do not suffer any other injury that prevents them from performing the activity without risk to their health.

In case of wearing prosthesis, glasses or contact lenses, they assume the risk of damage that the activity they will

develop may cause.

The client is informed that he contracts a risky activity, assuming any incident that might arise in their development.

Carrying out the activities is conditioned to the weather. On a trip or activity, the client accepts and assumes that you

may not be able to develop it, and as unpredictable events, the client renounces to claim

any financial refund for this concept.

If the price of the trip or activity includes a bicycle that do not belongs to the client, they are responsible for any

damage and breakages on the bicycles and accessories if there is a misused evidence, and they are also responsible

for the custody assigned throughout the trip or activity. In case of theft of the bike there is a compulsory fee from

250€ minimum per bike.

If the trip or activity is carried out with the client’s bicycle, Exodebike is not responsible for any damage or breakdown

that can arise during the trip, or the theft or custody of the bicycle. Insurance companies do not accept the risk of theft

of bicycles.
