What Quality Means to Me…

“Quality” is a certain level of performance or excellence in a product or service. As a company, we can attempt to design and deliver a particular level of quality to clients and customers; including assessing and measuring how well we are doing so.  In the end, however, it is the customer who decides whether the “quality” that is delivered is worth what he or she pays for the product or service compared to what was “promised”.

“Quality is hard to actually define and it depends on what perspective you look at it from. When I first think of quality, I think of it as a personal trait or character (i.e. Honesty is a great quality of a person).  Or as a standard of excellence which is compared to or measured against other things of a similar type. Like how well a something ranks compared to others things of the same type; the quality of a diamond OR the quality of a sales call”

“Quality is a measurement tool. Quality when collaborated properly can help with categorization. A few examples would be: high quality (little or no flaws), average quality (few major flaws and/or many minor flaws), poor quality (many major flaws). I would not consider items of high quality to be "perfect" which is without flaws”

“In our business, quality is taking care of our customers’ needs and providing an exemplary experience from “hello to goodbye”.  If we do not handle the customer’s needs efficiently, with confidence and a pleasant attitude, the customer will not have a good experience.  Once bad experience and the customer will not come back.  Our agents have to be knowledgeable and pleasant and a problem solver.  It takes all characteristics to make a quality call”

“In general I think having a quality product or offering a quality experience to me means being able to count on the service I am receiving.  Having the right people with the right attitude representing me and my company in a way I want to be viewed.  But again what is “right”.  To me it is offering a high grade product with high standards.  Offering excellence that can be easily distinguished from another offering a similar product.  Having the ability to satisfy a need better than expected”
