COORDINATING SEVERAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IS A GREAT WAY

TO HAVE ALL THE VOLUNTEERS COME TOGETHER

Volunteer Events

Volunteer Talent Show

Volunteers can volunteer to perform their talents: singing, dancing, comedy.

The costs would be minimal because the show would be performed by volunteers.

All the proceeds can go to United Way NYC causes.

Central Park Picnic

Volunteers can take a break and meet up at a certain date at Central Park for a picnic.

It would be pot luck style so all volunteers should expect to bring their own food and fun.

Games to be played: Volleyball Softball Kickball Or just walking around and talking with other

volunteers.

Coordinate with other Events

NYC hosts several huge events throughout the year. United Way NYC volunteers could work with these events as well. The Marathon Triathalons New years celebration Applicable sporting events: World Series, Superbowl…

maybe not the NBA playoffs for some time.

United Way NYC volunteers could volunteer with these events for fun and it would advertise the United Way cause in a variety of different outlets.
