6. Tighten bolts to recommended tightening torque MA in accord. to the manual

2. Check that the faces of the connecting flanges are parallel

3. Clean the shaft flanges and connecting flanges thoroughly

4. Check the position of the yokes relative to each other (Orientation marks must face each other, Telescoping parts are matched and must not be mixed up)

5. Do not load profile guard during storage or installation

< 0,2° < 0,2°

Universal Joint Shafts - Installation

Universal Joint Shafts - Lubrication

8. Lubrication of the universal joint shaft

The shafts have one grease nipple in the telescoping section (S) and one grease nipple near the joint centre (S1), plus 4 nipples at the bottom of the bushes (S2 und S3)

For relubrication it will be sufficient to apply grease to only one grease nipple per joint until the grease escapes from all four sealing lips.

Lubrication intervall: Every two months, but 10 weeks is the absolute maximum.

The splined shaft profile in the telescoping section of the universal joint shaft is coated with Rilsan. However, relubrication of the telescoping section (S) is recommended, if universal joint shafts have been removed for repair
