Companies That Hire Foreigners- This is a partial list of famous companies that hire

foreigners in China. - Mercedes-Benz - Zara retail stores - Time Education China Holdings - BMW - Amazon - ACCA

Working for Start-Ups - You might not get paid and if you do it will

probably be small. - You might be offered a higher postion that

might never come. - Receiving a long list of responsibilities and

long working hours. - The company might not survive very long.

When Applying, Submit the Following: - A cover letter - Your resumee - Certificates, diplomas, and degrees.

Probation Period - When you first start working in a Chinese

company, there will be a probation period which will be stipulated in your contract.

- An employee cannot be terminated or leave their job within the given period.

Living Expectations- Tax is very high for foreigners in China. You

could pay on average 20-40% of your salary. - Always find a place to live close to

transportation options. - Chinese can be very difficult, the more time

you spend studying the better off you’ll be in intergrating into the society.

Do’s and Don’ts in Chinese Offices- Establish a healthy, friendly, and respectful

relationship with coworkers. - Do show respect and patience during office

meetings. - Don’tspeak out of turn during meetings. - Do keep your company expsenses to a minimum. It’s

common to be asked to use your personal phone for business.

Visa Scams- Fake internships and job listings. The worst of

these scams come from fake recruiters and agents on the internet. Always conduct research! Online and though phone calls.
