So, what's an "Ad Book"?
An Ad Book, or advertising book, is one of manytools available for raising funds for a given cause.
It is a physical, paper-in-hand book that is createdby a group to generate funding in the support oftheir goals.
It works like this:
A group sells space in the book to companies andbusinesses.
These organizations then have their informationlisted in the book, giving them a valuableopportunity to be seen by anyone who flips throughthe pages.
It's a mutually beneficial way of introducing ads to alarger audience.
Distribution of the bookcomes in many forms.
Often the book is given away at charity events anddinners, but many times it is sold, which generateseven more income for the group’s cause.
