On 15 September 2010 d’Ouwe

Werf

Hotel will herald in a new era as we begin an exciting renovation to enhance the experience of our

many guests.

As d’Ouwe

Werf

is the oldest hotel in the Cape the planned renovations will preserve the history of this South African National Monument.

Work will begin in the oldest section of the hotel, the “Manor House”

and will not interfere with the day to day running of d’Ouwe

Werf

Hotel.

We do anticipate a little noise but wish to reassure our guests

that this will only happen during the day.

We are aiming to complete this phase of the project in three months time. Ten rooms and an exciting new reception area will result from this.
