I.PRESENTING US

Hi,

We are Christian, Tobias and Lena and we are from the international German School of Paris. We are very internationally orientated: many of us have been to countries all over the world and we learn to speak foreign languages. Our everyday life is influenced by many of the European regulations.

During this presentation, we would like to present you some of them.

We hope you will like and enjoy it!

II.EVERYDAY LIFE IN EUROPE

Foreign languages are taught in schools everywhere in Europe to connect and

communicate between the nations

The €uro is used by many European nations and is very strong on the world market

• It was introduced 2002• Since then, many other european nations adopted it• When you travel in Europe, you don‘t have to change the

currency.

Telephone calls, traveling and energy are getting cheaper because national monopoles

are broken

Safety standards protect the lives of many people

• The TÜV for example is an organisation that checks the safety of our cars• There are many other institutions for example for food,

electronical equipment, airplanes, etc.

Crime is reduced because of the Europewide collaboration

• Criminals are pursued all over the EU• Information is exchanged

Peace: a standard in Europe

• Before the EU was founded there were many wars in europe• With the EU all the European states are friends and support

each other

III.CHANCES FOR US

An overview

• We can study everywhere in Europe• There are many foreign schools, e. g. our German school in

Paris• We are free to choose your working location• We are protected against being fired without a period of

notice• We can travel around Europe without restrictions• A widely used and strong currency makes our economy and

therefore our life cheaper so that we can buy us more things• You can learn many languages to better communicate with

other persons all around the globe• Etc…
