• Bing maps can be cached on ConfirmConnect for use

when offline

– Cache map tiles around each task in your task list

– Caching only occurs when ConfirmConnect has a wireless

network connection

Create a Settings.js file:

Send configured and tested Settings.js to Pitney Bowes

Local Tile Cache

Store tiles in Tile Service directory structure on the

mobile device

• Configure the tile server to prepare the tile cache

• Create a Settings.js for your tile cache

• Copy the Settings.js and tile cache onto your device

Local SQLite Maps

Local vector and raster maps stored in SQLite

database(s) on the mobile device

• Vector maps converted to SpatiaLite format/Images

to RasterLite format

– Utilities provided in Geospatial Data Abstraction Library
