• Infant 3,4 years old: recycling workshop, learn the names of the objects that we put in the rubbish, we classify them in the following groups: paper, plastic and aluminium. We classify the bins by these colours blue, yellow and green.

We work in a circle, the objects are brought into the classroom in a plastic bag. We take them out one by one and repeat the names. Then we classify them by the materials. Next we show the colours of the containers and establish the type of material that goes in each one. We put the classified the objects into the containers. We repeat the sequence with each pupil choosing an object and putting it in the right container.

Infant 5 years old: We work with the colours of the earth and think over ways to save our planet. Finally we made a display in the hallway with the summary of our works. We were inspired by an article in Teachers Magazine n. 49.
