Heavy reliance on natural resources such as oil and coal to power our cities

NSW currently relies on coal to meet over 90% of its electricity needs, thus creating 27.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide every year

Coal is forecasted to last approximately 200 more years while the future of oil is bleak with only a predicted 37 years
