TECHNIQUE MACRAMEMacramé is a form of textile-making using knotting

rather than weaving or knitting.

Macramé became most recently popular during the early 1970’s due to its utility and reasonable supply price.

It can be created out of almost any kind of cording, though vinyl yarn and hemp twine are the most popular.
