You are greeted at The entry by An 11’6” tall arched custom hand carved 9’

mahogany front door with seeded glass transom and sidelites

The model showcase is all

about scale as this home

has soaring ceilings and

large spaces. hence, All

furniture selections

were oversized and

grand.

Natural light pours

through the 14’ tall

21’ vaulted beamed ceiling

A WARM SUN-KISSED tuscan

ambience is creatED through

DISTRESSED FINISHES – a

stuccoed glazed wall finish,

solid bronze rocky mountain

hardware and knotty alder

floors, woodwork and

doors.

The design challenge posed by

vast spaces with high ceilings

requires using furniture or

other design elements which

visually fill the space so it

does not feel empty and cold.

The Living and dining rooms were combined - great for entertaining

Two 9’4” tall curio cabinets flank the double french doors with

seeded glass which open to the kitchen

Open staircase leads to the lower level

home where everyone

sunroom , family room

and hallway

The Kitchen, breakfast nook and sun room have 10’ beamed/stuccoed ceilings.

the 11’ sunken family room is ‘separated’ with a knee-wall planter.

an enormous 9’ x 9’3” island is great for buffets, doing homework, etc.

The island also serves to separate others from the chefs work triangle

Double kohler sinks create the clean up area with the dishwasher left of the sinks

across from island cabinets with pull out trays for dishes and glasses

Two-toned, Stained and black distressed Knotty alder cabinets create

visual interest in a large kitchen

Planning desk

a hammered copper apron front sink was placed a short distance between

the stovetop, ovens and refrigerator creating a perfect working triangle

The sun room creates the perfect spot for morning coffee, reading

or conversation

The 11’ sunken family room has a 9’ wide stone fireplace and A 25’ wall of glass

which opens to a sunken patio for unobstructed views of the golf course

a 92” high alder armoire houses a tv and audio equipment

The hallway on the right leads to the powder room , garage entry, closet,

office and full bathroom adjacent to the office/4th bedroom

The Powder room was

finished in a warm terra

cotta venetian plaster

and has a hand carved

mahogany vanity

complemented by bronze,

gold and crystal sconces

and a matching ceiling

fixture.

Every closet in this home was custom built in knotty

alder to match the millwork throughout the house

which could also be used

office, partially finished but designed kitchen area and dining/card game area

LIVING ROOM/potential additional bedroom now used as ljt designs studio

Ljt REUPHOLSTERED THE FURNITURE IN THIS AREA

ARCHWAY was a disguise to hide the DUCTWORK

A VERSAILLES PATTERN TRAVERTINE TILE WAS USED ON THE main area of the

FLOOR and carpeting was installed in the remaining rooms

A ROUND HAMMERED COPPER SINK complements the

WALl-MOUNTed FAUCEts embedded in the Mirror.

Unfinished, but Designed media wall will house 130” screen and cabinets.

Ceiling Speakers have been installed throughout the lower level.

and tv outlet behind the artwork

UNFINISHED but DESIGNED KITCHEN/BAR AREA TO HOUSE TWO 24” WINE COOLERS on

back wall; UNDER-COUNTER REFRIGERATOR ON LEFT, MICROWAVE OVEN AND

ICEMAKER ON THE SEATING WALL AND SINK AND DISHWASHER ON THE RIGHT

French doors and sidelites with seeded glass open to 4th bedroom or

office. Shades could be installed on glass for privacy.

Bedding and

drapery panels

were purchased

at pottery barn and

customized

by ljt

Cabinet doors are awaiting mirror panels to hide and house tv and

storage.

Abundant light pours in through large above-grade windows

Tufted headboard was

designed by ljt and custom

made.

Matching fabric was used on

the reupholstered love seat to

tie the room together.

Electric and phone outlets were installed in The double

closets which ljt uses to house the printer and fax
