The MakerBot Replicator :

In September 2012, MakerBot Industries, a

Brooklyn, New York based company founded

by Bre Pettis, Adam Mayer, and Zach Smith

introduced the MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D

Printer.

New IT Invention:

“The MakerBot Replicator ”

The MakerBot Replicator :

The MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printer is the most easiest,

fastest and most affordable tool for

making professional

quality models.

The MakerBot Replicator :

This fourth generation machine is the best desktop 3D printer on the market. With a resolution capability of 100 microns and a massive 410 cubic inch build volume, the MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printer is

the easiest, fastest, and most affordable tool for making professional quality models.

How Does It Work?

• The MakerBot Replicator makes solid, three-dimensional objects out of melted MakerBot PLA Filament.

• The 3D design files are translated into instructions for the MakerBot Replicator and sent to the machine via USB cable or SD Card.

• Then the MakerBot Replicator heats the MakerBot PLA Filament and squeezes it out through a nozzle to make a solid object layer by layer.

• This method is called Fused Filament Fabrication [FFF].

MakerBot PLA Filament:

MakerWare-Developed by MBI :

• MakerWare is a specific software specially designed for MakerBot Machines.

Features:• World-class additive manufacturing at 100-micron layer

resolution.

• Makes bigger than ever: 410 cubic inches of creative

potential.

• Designed and optimized for MakerBot PLA Filament

[renewable bio plastic].

• The easiest to use, most affordable desktop 3D printer yet.

• Professionally engineered and expertly built for speed.

• It is faster than ever.
