THE SAME, BUT DIFFERENT!
We are starting back in the new year with many things the same
but also with some changes. Here are some remindersof things
that are the same as before Christmas:

Weekend Masses Please sign up! There is overflow capacity in
the gym for the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday as well as for the 11
a.m. Mass and 3 p.m. (Spanish) Mass on Sunday. Please note
that there is also usually room at the 6:30 p.m. (Spanish) Mass
on Saturday as well as the 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Masses on
Sunday.

Our pandemic precautions also remain in effect: masks and social distancing.
Please be especially careful about crowding when exiting Mass.

Adoration resumes from Thursday morning to Friday morning Please sign up!

Here is something that will be different:
Luminous Thursdays are no more! We will still have the monthly Evenings of
Recollection for Men and for Women, but they will move to the 1st and 2nd
Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m., instead of Thursday. We will no longer
have the monthly Praise and Worship Holy Hour. These changes are mainly for
the good reason that Adoration at that time is quite busy!

I also have some ideas for observing the Year of St. Joseph which Pope
Francis began in December. We will get those plans made shortly!

Thanks to everyone for making the Christmas Season so beautiful at Saint
Rose! And thanks for the generosity of so many of you in helping the parish
financially as well. In so many ways we are ready for a great new year!

THANK YOU FROM DEACON PETE
I would like to take just a moment to THANK all my Saint Rose Family for all the
cards, well wishes, prayers, and most of all the love and concern for me and my
wife since my injury. I continue to be on the mend and will begin physical
therapy in the near future. Unfortunately, I will be out for several more weeks at
the best. I dearly miss all my Saint Rose Family and friends and look forward to
being back and serving Saint Rose once again. Please continue to keep me
and my wife in your prayers, and be well assured that all of my Saint Rose
Family is in my prayers each and every day as well. Thank you and God Bless
each and every one of you.
