CLC’s main focus is to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the

construction industry at local and national levels.

Additionally, CLC will:

• be an open forum to exchange ideas • become an entry vehicle into AGC to

promote member involvement • foster a strong network among peers • create a foundation for the future • discuss the most important issues

and provide feedback to AGC leadership

• provide leadership skills • provide a mentoring program with

established officers and committee members

• structure AGC and the construction industry for the coming centuries

• network with similar organizations in

the construction industry • bring new skills and experiences

back to employers • have a presence on the AGC board

of directors with two non-voting members

The Construction Leadership Committee (CLC) is an AGC of Minnesota committee designed

to address the needs of emerging professionals and the construction industry.

CLC provides opportunities

for emerging professionals to network and receive support.

At the same time, CLC assists the construction industry by

recognizing and training future leaders.

CLC provides a variety of experiences —

on a monthly basis.

Events include construction site visits, like the Gopher Stadium and Unweave the Weave; con-tinuing education, like B.I.M. and MPCA regulations; giving back to the community, with Casting the Future and Toys for Tots; and networking events, like bowling and the Saint Paul Saints game.
